In 2022, Celine Dion revealed that she suffers from Stiff-Person Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that causes spasms and muscle stiffness. Although Dion's sister Claudette told a French newspaper last year that the singer could not control her muscles, Celine and her powerful vocal chords did not give up. Earlier this year, she made a surprise appearance at the 2024 Grammys, where she gave a few lucky audience members some impromptu vocals backstage. And in a new interview Vogue FranceHe gave many inspiring updates on his career with SPS.
“I haven't beaten the disease, it's still with me and always will be,” Dion told the publication, “and for now I just have to learn to live with it.” He said he does “athletic, physical and vocal therapy” five times a week and lives “day to day”. “The way I look at it,” she said, “I have two choices. Either I train like an athlete and work really hard, or I'm done switching off. She says, “With my body and soul, head to toe, medical I have chosen to work with the team and I want to be the best.”
