The college basketball schedule loaded up on Saturday, with 22 teams participating in The Associated Press Top 25 as sports take center stage with the regular Sunday slate as the Super Bowl. While the day is light on marquee matchups — no. 4 Kansas and no. 13 Baylor is the only game between two ranked teams – with plenty of potential for upsets and consequences.
By 12:30 p.m. ET, four ranked teams will be in action against league foes to pull off at least one upset in one window. The afternoon brings a big doubleheader on CBS. No. 10 Illinois travels to Michigan State, followed by Gonzaga's trip to No. 17 Kentucky in a rare February conference game.
The Spartans and Jacks trail only Kansas in consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, but both live on the bubble and need to improve their resumes. Both games should feature tough conditions and plenty of drama as we close out five weeks until Selection Sunday.

No. 10 Illinois at Michigan State

Michigan State is looking to avenge an earlier 71-68 loss at Illinois and needs this game for its NCAA Tournament hopes. Additionally, the Spartans haven't lost a game at home since December 5th. Every home win in that span has come by at least nine points for Michigan State. Prediction: Michigan State -2.5

That's something to be proud of for the Wildcats, who got back on track Tuesday with 109 points at Vanderbilt. Gonzaga needs a Quad 1 win, but expecting the Jags to travel across the country and defeat an offensive juggernaut like UK is a tall order. Prediction: Kentucky -4

The Jayhawks have had their flaws, but good luck beat them in their place. Baylor has a penchant for playing close games, but KU is the right side in this big Big 12 battle. Prediction: Kansas -6.5

With Dalton Knecht's supporting cast making significant contributions, look for Tennessee to create some breathing room late against a Texas A&M team that has dropped three home games this season. After losing by 21 at home to Purdue on 16, the Hoosiers will be motivated to redeem themselves. Purdue will win, but look for Indiana to struggle in one of its final chances to make a major statement. Prediction: Indiana +18.5
