The NY Attorney General’s Office has dropped a civil suit against former President Donald Trump, his adult sons Donald Jr. and Eric, and their company.

A total of 25 witnesses – 24 of whom have appeared in person and given evidence – have gone on for nearly six weeks so far.

Ivanka Trump was the last witness called before the attorney general’s office rested its case. He followed the testimony of his father and his brothers Donald Jr. and Eric.

Judge Arthur Engoron ruled before the trial that Donald Trump and his co-defendants committed “continuous and repeated” fraud.

A judge is now considering how much restitution the Trumps should pay for profits they allegedly made through fraudulent business practices, including inflating Donald Trump’s value in financial statements.

The attorney general seeks to prove six additional claims, including falsifying business records, providing false financial statements and insurance fraud.

The attorney general is seeking to ban the Trumps from doing business in New York.

There have been several fireworks in the investigation, including Judge Donald Trump’s fines totaling $15,000 for violating his gag order that no one comment on his staff. The former president has repeatedly criticized Ngoron’s law clerk.

Donald Trump appeared in court for a total of seven days, where he attacked New York Attorney General Letitia James, the judge and the case against him.

He did just that earlier this week when he took the stand with lengthy speeches during his testimony, prompting several admonitions from the judge.

Trump’s lawyers are set to begin their arguments on Monday and have indicated they will wrap up in mid-December.
